Hull #1

It all started with our first boat, a 1984 Mako 21 left to rot in Long Island, New York. Going into this project, we knew nothing about boat restoration. Youtube and internet forums served as our classroom. We taught our selves everything we needed to get this project afloat.

Hull #2

The second project allowed us to put our skills to the test. A close friend of ours found an overgrown sail boat abandoned in Grotton, Connecticut. The hull was a 1964 Rhodes 19, a true classic. No more learning curve, we were fully prepared to take on the project.

Hull #3

News spreads fast. After seeing the completion of Hull #1, another friend shared an interest in restoring a classic boat. We helped him find the perfect one, a 1981 Hydra Sport 24 from Buzzards Bay, Massachusetts. We assisted with fiberglass work and documented the whole process.

Hull #4

Our most recent project. A 1969 Mako 19 pulled from the weeds in Westerly, Rhode Island. This boat has a lot of history, it is one of the first Mako’s ever made.
